Well I haven't been posting as often, been working alot...here's what I got so far. Don't be too critical, i'm no mecanic...learning as I go along. This was a couple weeks ago, no rescent pics yet.



Note: the green stuff is Zink primer, I stripped it down to the bare metal....no more sound proofing.

Edit: Here are some of the trinkets that I've picked up.









You can immediately tell the difference between this core and the cheap shit knockoffs people see on the net. I used to have an XS Power core, it doesn't even come into orbit of the quality of Blitz. You can see it and feel it once you hold it in your hands.

I finnaly got some tension rods, i've been on the stock ones for too long:





I've got other things piled up but this is the more rescent stuff I've received. More stuff are on the way too. Stay tuned!

Update: Today I finally got the paint on. Came out pretty good considering I did it with spraycan paint. I used a factory Nissan color with clear already mixed in. I suggest doing it with a gravity gun+air compressor for showroom results.

I am planning on it, but I had to say that I've come to an important decision. I won't be competing in Driftmania for points. I have decided to maintain the car's daily driveability so no welded Cage, no nomex suit, no full bucket. I will be participating only on practice days (once the car is finished) to sharpen my Drifting skills ( however mediocre they might be right now). I do want to improve so as long as the rules for practice remain unchanged as they are...you can count me in.



My next update will be up soon...stay tuned!

BTW, I work for a living just like you...i've worked very hard in the last 2yrs to buy this car and to begin restoring it...takes even more effort both financially and personally. I am not rich by any means, I don't have mommy & daddy to pay for my parts. It's all about blood, sweat & beers

I hate mondays, except today...despite the fact I had to work a 10h30 shift. I came home late to find a brown box sitting inside my doorway. I had discovered the UPS guy brought it earlier that day...what could it be? I've ordered so much shit (which has left me poor as ****) I don't even remember what is here and what is on it's way. So I whip out my trust swiss army keychain and break the seal with gitty, child-like anticipation.
