yet he didnt seem affected by it being stolen

that was his first bike

and now he says he wants to get a hayabusa and turbo it next year

I went to Napi yesterday night and there was a lot of motorcycle and there was tons of BS that was going on... Some of them are just "over the top". Saying that the Hayabusa was not pulling on his stock R6 and then the other guy talking with him saying he lift the front wheel at 275km with his R6 and that the R6 was the machine and blah blah blah... Next, a guy showed up with a Hayabusa and that same R6 guy says he would learn him how to drive. Anyway, the motorcycle community is closer than the car community but still, a lot a BS going on.

When you'll tear one appart , or twist an anckle you'll say: I should have wear boot(or motorcycle shoes)

I admit to ride sometimes in running shoes, but I find it harder to shift (the shoes top is too soft)
I prefer, and by far, work boot and since i've bought my SIDI Vertigo: only wear them! :D

I ride in shell toes (and have lots of pairs) but I prefer track boots...though they are just too bulky for city rides.

And SER_chick, your right the strap doesnt make a difference ON the bike, except when you crash. Defies the pupose of ride gear. Not that runners are actually ride gear.
