yamaha r1 is the sickest bike i know of any one thiunk other wise?

nah because the ducati 999R exist, for 5 time the price it kick so much ass because it's ITALIAN, it's so sick it's almost faster than the R1, can you believe this !!!!!!!!! and guess what it's ITALIAN and it's a poser bike it kick ASS. *banghead*

Nah seriously the R1 is indeed one of the sickest bike on the road but against my heart I must admit that in 2005 the GSXR-1000 is the king. In 2004 the R1 was the king and I hope it will be in 2006.

I can't stand single front headlight

so for me it's 2006 R6 number one.

then the current R1

I also like the repsol (for the color scheme) and this model in general for the shape and undertail exhaust.

and the 636 I don't like at all the shape from seat to back, it's too "round" around the passenger seat IMO.

The truth is none of you is good enough to get even 50% of the performance envelope of a 600 let alone a 1000. So all those numbers are academic. For magazine racers.
A pro rider will be faster on track with an Aprilia 125cc or Cagiva Mito 125cc then any of you with a 600.

Pis je peut te dire que la différence entre un 600cc et un 1000 ca meme pas dallure,je comprend meme pas ce que les ingénieur ont pensée quand ils ont créer ces machines.

Bring your Euro ducatti pos for 30k and i bring 2006 GSX-r1000 for 14K,you will see what "the feel" mean...

oh ya me too i know this guys brothers friend cousins uncle who had a Testarossa and he couldnt drive it because it was always broken, damm european machinery:p

euuuuh i'ved ride with the guy!
He's at is 4th Ducati(well now it's over), he even got a Bostrom edition before.

trying any bike, make me like them. None of the bike I'ved test, make me dislike them! Some have plus and minus, just like everything else!

ok it's not a comparaison but I always like when people start their point by: we all know youre cartoon like jap bike .
It's just proving that you are the opposite of what you're saying and that you can be just as jap "hater" as people can say that ducati are POS!

i on the other hand acknowledge the qualities that jap bikes have, cuz we all know their great, i just dont like them.

now u come mister all informed, with the old tired stereotype of an unreliable ducati to prove that these bikes are POS, they are far from that, many world bike championships will tell you other wise. be objective in your arguments.

you can't compare world championship bike(even AMA one) to street bike!
it's not even close to be the same (I'm not talking about MotoGP).

I'm not falming on Ducati, i'm just tired of people that can't understand that ducati, here in quebec, don't have any advantage.

Just like RussianM3_Dude say: over the ocean it's an all other story cause Duc are cheaper,,,which isn't the case here.

So in a way Duc are POS in quebec. Since you can get the same for very less $$.
Duc are bought here just, in a way, the be "original" and been able to "flash".

they are still friggen nice bikes the Ducs

but way too much $ for me. I'd take a R1 limited edition with Olhin's suspension and such for such a price

I can only imagine how good the special edition MV Agustas are, or Bimotas.
